The Bible is not just an ancient religious text, it is Truth. When rightly interpreted, it is the most relevant application in our modern world and culture. The Word of God contains truths that cause us to reflect Christ in our worlds, bringing healing, restoration and justice to our world.
The Word of God is principal and central in Life Church.
The presence of God and His power through the gifts of the Holy Spirit are vital expressions of our faith. We embrace and seek to express His presence fully and unashamedly in Life Church, and to be revived individually as a follower of Jesus, as well as to be a part of His revival as a church.
Community is essential for our health and growth. Our relationships should not just be compartmentalised to Sundays at church, but integrated into our everyday lives. Community in Life Church is shaped around our lifestyle, and journeying together is our way of life.
Jesus promised to serve us living waters that would quench our thirst permanently. Hence, at Life Church, we prefer to focus on digging wells that serve refreshing spiritual waters. Instead of building fences of rules, we prefer to inspire us to become a source of spiritual nourishment wherever we go.
Following Jesus leads us to serve others out of an overflow. We would love for you to serve in the church, but we would love it even more to empower and equip you to serve your spheres and communities outside of Life Church.
We don’t need to wait for weekend services, sermons and events at Life Church for people to encounter Jesus. His presence and love dwell in each and every one of us today, and we are called to be the light of the world. The opportunities to talk about Jesus in our spheres from Mondays to Fridays outnumber those in church on Saturdays and Sundays, and we get to shine our light and glorify our Father to those around us throughout the week.
Where our treasure is, there our heart will be. We are not afraid to talk about money here at Life Church, because how we see money reflects our heart and our values. We believe that when we speak openly and clearly about how we understand and utilise money, it allows all to see our belief and values, and allows us to reflect Christ—the true treasure in our hearts.
